Functions of the Ethics Committee
- to seek the views of the public on any of the social, moral, ethical and legal issues that arise from reproductive technology procedures;
- provide advice to the Council on any of those issues, whether in consequence of the committee's function under paragraph (i) above or otherwise; and
- liaise and co-operate with any other committee or body concerned with any of those issues.
